The NETPORE COST Action is an international network of leading researchers and stakeholders working collaboratively to bridge the gap between key scientific developments and the practical applications of technologies based on porous semiconductors and oxides. Recent advances in these materials have demonstrated their great potential across a broad spectrum of applications, from energy and environment to healthcare.
By uniting a diverse pool of expertise from both academia and industry, NETPORE fosters cutting-edge research and innovation. The network encourages collaboration through its structured Working Groups, providing a platform for joint initiatives and knowledge exchange.
The NETPORE COST Summer School 2025 aims to equip early-career researchers with foundational knowledge and hands-on training in the synthesis, characterization, and applications of various porous materials such as silica, titania, and alumina. The summer school is organized by Prof. Lluís F. Marsal, Coordinator of NETPORE COST, and Prof. Rodrigo Picos (UIB), and is designed to inspire the next generation of scientists in this rapidly evolving field.
