The NETPORE COST Action is a global network of leading researchers and stakeholders who collaborate on ideas and initiatives to bridge the gap between key developments and practical applications of technologies based on porous semiconductors and oxides. Recent advancements in porous semiconductors and oxides have shown that these platform technologies exhibit promising performance for a wide range of  applications ranginh from energy to healthcare. The NETPORE COST Action network promotes cutting-edge research and innovation in this field by bringing together a broad pool of expertise from academia and industry, creating opportunities for joint projects through Working Groups.
The main objective of the NETPORE COST Summer School 2024 is to provide young researchers with fundamental training on the production, characterization, and application areas of various porous materials such as silica, titania, and alumina. The school is organized by Prof. Lluis Marsal, who is also the Coordinator of NETPORE COST and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hatice Duran Durmuş (TOBB UET).

Registration 
Summer school is free of charge for all early-period researchers (PhD and Post-docs) and the number of attendees is limited to 50.
The university dormitories are a 5-minute walk from the meeting center.  Extra 10 rooms are reserved for NETPORE Summer school visiting students in the dormitory with an accommodation rate is 25 Euro)/student including breakfast. Other guests can stay at Gazi Park Hotel (https://werdehotels.com/gazipark/index.html), which is also very close to the meeting hall. In the coming days, we will be announcing a special discount for COST NETPORE members.
