Scientific expertise |
In our research group the main focus is on the photocatalytic applications of metal oxide thin films. We deposit thin films of metal oxides via atomic layer deposition especially on higher surface area substrates to increase their performance as a photocatalyst. Furthermore via the modification of the ALD process we create porous films to increase the surface area more. Another area of study is the formation metal oxide and silica based sol gel materials for various applications including insulation and photocatalysis as well. |
