Working groups of interest
-WG1 - Advances in Porous Materials and Technologies
Research field (Free keywords) Porous piezoelectric materials; ferolectric, relaxons materials
Scientific expertise I. Study the role of porosity on the functional properties of ceramic materials (BT,(Ba,Ca)(Zr,Ti)O3, BST and Nb-doped Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 (PZT)). II. Study of BaTiO3 (BT) solid solutions: preparation-characterization- properties-modeling: (1)Study of Ba(Zr,Ti)O3 (BZT) Ferroelectric-relaxor ceramics. (2) Implementation of FORC method for describing the local switching properties of BT-solid solutions. III. Multiferroic composites with magnetolectric coupling: experiment-modeling. ((1) Investigation of magnetoelectric effect in the solid solution relaxor Pb(Fe2/3W1/3)O3-PbTiO3. (2) Study in investigation of the volume, interface and percolation effects in multifunctional composite materials and metamaterials with controlled geometry. V. The study of dielectric relaxation and conduction in ferrites.
Capabilities My experience in the study of ferroelectric oxides-based materials, porous ceramics as well as of magnetoelectric composites concerning the relationship of preparation-microstructure-functional properties (dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric and magnetoelectric properties) and their possible applications, my managerial skills of the national and international grants, it could be a chance for me to discover new methods for producing porous microstructures, to know new techniques for inverstigations their properties and to establish new complementary and fruitful collaborations.
