Scientific expertise My research is focused mainly in the field of materials, including ordinary Portland cement, secondary cementitious materials, sustainable cements (alkali activated binders with ground granulated blast-furnace slag), clays, zeolites and photocatalytic materials used mainly as waste treatment agents, and as eco-friendly and self-cleaning products. Characterizing of raw materials and products with instrumental methods (FTIR, NMR, AAS, TG-DSC, BET, MIP, DVS, SEM-EDAX, XRD, UV-vis spectroscopy, HPLC, calorimetry, mechanical testing). I am able to use different statistical and engineering softwares in my research work such as Matlab, Minitab, Design Expert and SPSS.
