Scientific expertise Anton FICAI is mainly focusing his R&D activity in materials processing and design including but not limited to porous materials for specific applications including health and environmental protection; composite materials for tissue engineering (from pure regenerative to specific antitumoral, antimicrobial or anti-osteoporotic applicability); chemical surface modification, etc. A special attention was also paid to the development of different nanomaterials, including metal and oxide nanoparticles (ZnO, Fe3O4, AgNP, etc.), carbonic materials especially graphene oxide, calcium Phosphates (especially hydroxyapatite) etc..
