Scientific expertise |
During my master´s degree, I worked on semiconductor thin films generated by imploying nanotechnological methods to decompose some organic substances found in wastewater that are harmful to the environment and human health, such as cyanide, phenol, and methylene blue, and convert them into environmentally friendly clean components using the photocatalytic effect of sunlight. At the same time, I got the opportunity to observe various production procedures in University of Bayreuth, Germany, as part of the Erasmus program. My doctoral dissertation study focused on the production of ceramic reinforced metal matrix composites and functionally graded materials for use in biomedical applications. |
