Scientific expertise |
I am an Industrial Chemist and since January 2023 I am a PhD student at the Physics Department of the University of Naples Federico II. During my master’s thesis I worked for the optimization of the Calcium Looping process for thermochemical solar energy storage and carbon dioxide capture. My current research is about applications of nanomaterials based on carbon,metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and MOFs-derived metal oxydes, for use in chemoresistive and electrochemical sensors. |

Capabilities |
I am experienced in the use of lab-scale reactors and in different analytical and thermal techniques: thermogravimetry (TGA, DSC) spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-vis), volumetric adsorption methods and different synthetic approaches (bulk chemistry, wet chemistry, top-down and bottom-up approaches). |
