Research field (Free keywords) nanostructured metal oxides, solar cells, molecular separation, functional coatings, sol-gel, supramolecular templating, nanocasting, thin films, nanoparticles.
Scientific expertise The focus of my research group lies on the design of novel nanostructured metal oxide materials using solution processing for applications in solar cells, molecular separation, and functional coatings. Various types of porous materials (e.g. nanoparticles, thin films, and bulk materials) can be prepared by sol-gel processing combined with supramolecular templating, or via nanocasting.
Capabilities Synthesis and characterization of (metal oxide) nanomaterials (nanoparticles, thin films, hierarchically porous bulk materials, etc.).
